No LNG: Excelerate’s Terminal Shuts Down

Gas supplies have declined further. Excelerate Energy’s LNG terminal has been completely shut down due to a lack of imported gas. Meanwhile, the Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase has given in-principle approval for the purchase of 14 LNG cargoes. According to Petrobangla sources, a total of 2,145 million cubic feet (mmcf) of gas was supplied at 8:00 pm on Wednesday. Of this, 1,624 mmcf came from domestic sources, while 561 mmcf came from imported LNG. Imported gas supply was 70 mmcf lower
