On this day in 2025, Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey made his debut for the club in a 0-0 draw away to Crystal Palace. Born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 2002, Brobbey started out in the academy of lower league side Amsterdamsche before moving to Ajax in 2010.
