Russian drone strikes Kyiv-Warsaw train near Polish border

A Russian drone struck the locomotive of a Kyiv-Warsaw passenger train about two kilometres from Poland on Sunday during a mass attack on Ukraine that killed at least six people and injured dozens. Ukrainian authorities said passengers had been evacuated before the strike and no one aboard was hurt. Ukraine’s state railway company Ukrzaliznytsia said its monitoring team detected the threat and issued an evacuation order about 15 minutes before the drone hit near Yahodyn in the Volyn region.
