Heating Oil Bills Could Jump 31 Percent This Winter as Iran War Drives Up Prices

Households that heat with oil are projected to spend nearly $2,300 this winter as crude prices remain above $100 a barrel amid the war with Iran. Those households are forecast to pay 31.3% more than last winter, CNN reported Monday, citing an analysis by the National Energy Assistance Directors Association (NEADA). This estimate covers the season from mid-November to mid-March.
