Lowell council to consider ban on Flock-style cameras, other surveillance tech

The Lowell City Council will hear an ordinance being introduced Tuesday, Sept. 15, that would ban the city from using Flock Safety's automated license plate reader cameras, known as ALPRs, along with acoustic listening devices and facial recognition technology.
