China's short film The Pigeon Ring wins Venice Immersive Grand Prize

(Xinhua) The 83rd Venice International Film Festival closed on Saturday on Venice's Lido, with Chinese VR short film The Pigeon Ring winning the Venice Immersive Grand Prize.   Directed by Zhang Yuqi and Tao Shixin, the 35-minute film follows a grandfather and granddaughter searching for a lost pigeon ring, using the story to explore memories and family ties in an ordinary Chinese family.
