Naga students’ body demands NIA probe into all violence in Manipur; Appeal to scarp SoO with Kuki militant outfits

NEW DELHI: The Naga Students’ Union Delhi (NSUD) has called on the Centre to order an independent, time-bound investigation into attacks on Naga civilians in Manipur since the beginning of the ethnic clashes in the state in May 2023. The student body also demands a thorough review of the ceasefire arrangement or Suspension of Operation (SoO) agreements with Kuki militant outfits.
