Sajjan Singh Yadav Appointed J&K Chief Secretary

Srinagar, Oct 24: The Government of India has appointed Dr. Sajjan Singh Yadav, IAS (AGMUT:1995), as the new Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday, Yadav has been transferred from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir and posted as Chief Secretary with effect from November 1, 2026, or from the date of his joining, whichever is later. The order, issued with the approval of the competent authority, stated that Yadav is being transferred
