Illinois and Notre Dame announce home-and-home football series in 2027 and 2028

For the first time in 59 years, the Illinois and Notre Dame football teams will meet on the gridiron in 2027. The two programs announced Tuesday that they'll play a two-year home-and-home series, meeting in South Bend, Indiana, on Sept. 4, 2027, and in Champaign on Sept. 2, 2028.
