Bengal: SIT arrests second accused in UNESCO-tagged fake Durga Puja pass scam

Kolkata Police's SIT has arrested senior Mass Art executive Dhrubojyoti Basu in the multi-crore fake Durga Puja pass scam linked to UNESCO-tagged festival tours. Basu, named in the FIR and allegedly a key architect of the scheme along with former West Bengal Tourism Minister Indranil Sen, had been absconding since last week. The probe is being jointly pursued by the Kolkata Police and the Enforcement Directorate.
