The Poetry of Frost: Kashmir's Winter Paradox
There is something almost brutally poetic about winter in Kashmir. It does not knock on the door; it takes possession of the landscape. Mountains disappear beneath its white dominion, rivers surrender to the cold, streets retreat into silence and ordinary life begins its annual negotiation with nature. From a distance, the Valley resembles a masterpiece painted by an invisible artist. Up close, however, the canvas tells a more complicated story: one of beauty, endurance, isolation and survival.
