PRA’s directive to hotel owners

LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has directed hotel owners across the province to complete 100 percent installation of the Electronic Invoice Monitoring System (EIMS) by the end of this month, warning that businesses issuing fake electronic receipts will face strict action and heavy penalties. PRA Chairman Moazzam Iqbal Sipra gave the directive during a meeting with a delegation of the Hotels Association. The talks focused on rolling out EIMS in the hotel sector and on tax compliance.
