Jared Sullinger has officially announced his retirement from professional basketball at the age of 34. After completing a 14-year playing career spanning the NBA and elite international leagues, the former Boston Celtics forward is returning to his alma mater Ohio State University as the Director of Player Development. Don Nelson played for the Boston Celtics from 1965 to 1976 after stints with the Chicago Zephyrs and Los Angeles Lakers. Neslon was a clutch sixth man and frontcourt reserve under legendary coaches Red Auerbach, Bill Russell, and Tom Heinsohn.
