There will be a strange feeling around the game between Derbyshire and Northamptonshire at Wantage Road tomorrow. Donald selected for England T20 squad

Wonderful news today, with Nye Donald selected for the England T20 squad to play against Sri Lanka this month. No one could argue it was undeserved. He has had two special Blast summers for Derbyshire and it is further proof that the county is back on the England radar. Although it has not been formally announced, I think it unlikely that Derbyshire will re-engage Caleb Jewell for 2027.
