When all is said and done, Derek McInnes has a cup semi final to win at Hampden. His Rangers side will face Aberdeen in his second side against one of his old charges as Rangers boss. He secured all 3 points on Rangers’ visit to Aberdeen in August, a penalty from captain Lawrence Shankland sealing […] The post Bouanani and Fernandez start: Predicted Rangers XI to face Aberdeen appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
Derek McInnes’ Manny Fernandez defence certain has gotten tongues wagging down Govan way. We looked at it earlier, in more superficial detail, but let’s go to the full quotes and look at it more deeply. “I only get asked about Fernandez when he has a poor game. Nobody asked me about Fernandez on Saturday, he […] The post Derek McInnes and his Staunch Defence of Manny Doesn’t Add up appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
Derek McInnes has delivered an extraordinary defence of Emmanuel Fernandez following Rangers’ disappointing draw against Hearts. The Ibrox manager appeared particularly irritated when journalists questioned the Nigerian defender’s latest performance. However, the sheer intensity of his response raised more questions than answers. Indeed, the Derek McInnes Fernandez defence suggests a manager determined to protect his […] The post Derek McInnes Sparks Rangers Fury With Extraordinary Emmanuel Fern
Could Derek McInnes be set to stun Rangers fans by dropping Olwethu Makhanya prior to Aberdeen? This would seem absolutely inexplicable and unacceptable. However, given that he happily dropped Badredine Bouanani for absolutely no reason against Hearts, we wouldn’t be surprised if he did likewise with the South African defender. The ‘actual’ reasoning? Makhanya had […] The post Could Derek McInnes Stun Rangers Fans by Dropping Olwethu Makhanya? appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
In a move set to rather surprise Rangers fans, manager Derek McInnes has opened a war of words with Olwethu Makhanya and defended Emmanuel Fernandez. With Rangers fans increasingly critical of the Nigerian centre half, praise has been widespread for South Africa’s finest. Derek McInnes, however, has taken exception to Olwethu Makhanya and praised the […] The post Derek McInnes Begins War of Words With Rangers Star Olwethu Makhanya and DEFENDS Emmanuel Fernandez appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
Olwethu Makhanya has delivered one of the most devastating assessments of Rangers this season following Wednesday’s 2–2 draw against Hearts. The South African defender rescued Derek McInnes’ side with a late equaliser at Tynecastle. However, his subsequent comments offered absolutely no protection to his teammates or manager. Indeed, the Olwethu Makhanya Rangers criticism exposed some […] The post Olwethu Makhanya Rangers Criticism Damns His Team Mates appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
Rangers supporters have spent months defending Nicolas Raskin, treating the Belgian midfielder as an indispensable part of the Ibrox midfield. However, the evidence this season tells a very different story. Apart from his impressive display against Celtic, the Belgian has barely justified his reputation. Indeed, the increasingly alarming Nico Raskin Rangers form raises serious questions […] The post Nico Raskin just looks like a player who wants to leave Rangers appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
If there was one moment that could have just got Derek McInnes and Rangers seriously out of jail at Hearts last night, it was of course the final kick of the ball and avoided being losers. Rangers fans who watched the match will be well aware of what happened in the dying seconds. James Penrice […] The post Rangers are just losers who bottle it when it matters appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
Rangers fans, to say the least, are beyond frustrated and furious with Derek McInnes over the repeated selection of Emmanuel Fernandez. The entire subplot and general hype over this boy has taken on something of a cult legend in itself. As we all know, Ibrox Noise was deeply against this signing. We completely opposed signing […] The post Rangers Fans Are Furious That Manny Fernandez is Untouchable appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
We all remember how badly the season started under Derek McInnes as he began shooting Rangers in the foot. Diabolical management, terrible results. Unfortunately, the former Hearts manager has reverted to exactly the same management for two of the last three matches. Rangers have crumbled to pieces. It was patently obvious that Rangers were going […] The post Derek McInnes is just shooting Rangers in the foot appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
The BBC’s coverage of Rangers and Celtic’s respective 2-2 draws on Wednesday night has raised some interesting questions about the broadcaster’s editorial tone. Both Glasgow giants experienced almost identical matches, taking the lead, falling behind and eventually recovering to secure a point. Yet the BBC Rangers Celtic coverage presented two noticeably different interpretations of essentially […] The post BBC call Celtic ‘heroic’ while Rangers were ‘lucky’ despite identical 2-2 draws appeared
Derek McInnes has once again made an absolute bottle job of his Rangers selection, and the consequences were painfully obvious at Tynecastle. For the second time in three matches, the Rangers manager got his tactics horribly wrong, and his side paid the price with another damaging draw. The only consolation from this latest McInnes Rangers […] The post Derek McInnes Bottles Hearts Clash as Rangers Escape Complete Disaster appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
Ibrox Noise today is focusing a little on Rangers star Dujon Sterling, and the material from his press conference. Speaking very well indeed, Rangers’ stalwart RB discussed various aspects of life at Rangers, and delivered a refreshingly direct approach. The fact he was even bleeped out for saying ‘shit’ at one point showed just how […] The post Rangers star Dujon Sterling SLAUGHTERS Danny Rohl and Russell Martin appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
If there’s one player who doesn’t really get too involved with the public side of the game outside the playing bit, it’s Dujon Sterling. A pretty quiet lad, he does the media stuff contractually, but does most of his talking on the pitch. This season he has been outstanding. We know about his brush with […] The post “With my future being questioned” – Dujon Sterling Offers Rangers His Future Intentions appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
Ibrox Noise was amused by an article we recently received regarding, of all people, Philippe Clement. We’ll say no more about the article, but it did get us thinking about the former Rangers manager as we prepare to face v Aberdeen. That, ridiculously, he was the last Rangers boss to get his hands on silverware, […] The post Rangers’ Appalling Trophy Drought Makes Aberdeen Clash an Absolute Must-Win appeared first on Ibrox Noise.
